Dr. Kathleen Hodkinson

Kathleen was born in the United Kingdom. She completed her undergraduate degree in psychology at the University of Oxford, followed by a doctorate in clinical psychology at the Institute of Psychiatry, Kings College London. She then completed a postgraduate diploma in CBT from the University of Oxford.
Kathleen’s training includes cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), mindfulness & acceptance and commitment therapy based approaches, eye movement desensitisation and restructuring, compassion focussed approaches and family interventions.
In the UK, Kathleen worked in the NHS as a highly specialist clinical psychologist working with adults and young people with mental health difficulties (e.g. depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, trauma, psychosis, personality disorders, eating disorders). Kathleen has been living in Vienna for three years, working with adults, young people, couples, as well as working with complex mental health problems and individuals adjusting to difficult life situations.
Kathleen is experienced in the supervision of other psychologists, students and health professionals. She has taught on both psychology undergraduate and masters programs. Kathleen is accredited as a clinical psychologist both in the UK (HCPC: PYL06207) and in Austria (Eintragungsnummer: 10984). She is registered with the BÖEP (Berufsverband Österreichischer Psychologinnen).
Mag. Katrín Kristjánsdóttir

Katrín was born in Reykjavík, Iceland. She studied psychology at the University of Iceland and earned her Postgraduate and Master of Applied Psychology with specialisation in clinical psychology at Murdoch University in Perth, Australia. During her studies Katrin specialised in assessment and therapy for both adults and children.
Katrín's training includes cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), schema therapy, mindfulness, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), acceptance and commitment therapy, couples counseling and Dialectical Behavioural therapy.
Katrín lived in Perth Australia for four years studying and working as a clinical psychologist. In Australia Katrin specialized in trauma, anxiety, depression (including postnatal depression), grief and loss, personality disorders, self esteem, personal growth, positive parenting, attachment issues and early intervention. She has now been living in Austria for around 5 years with her husband and two sons. Katrín is currently the manager and supervisor of the student Counseling Center at Webster Vienna Private University. Katrín is registered with the BÖEP (Berufsverband Österreichischer Psychologinnen).
